Beaches of Maharashtra
Maharashtra is located in the western coast of India. This state boasts of 720 kilometers of long stretch of shoreline along the Arabian Sea which extends from Dahanu and Bordi in the north up to Goa proceeding southwards. Some of the beaches in Maharashtra are Alibaug beach, Diveagar, Ganpatipule beach, Shriwardhan-Harihareshwar, Kelwa Beach, Mandwa and Kihim, Nagaon Beach, Shiroda Beach, Shrivardhan Beach, Tarkarli Beach, Velneshwar beach, Vichumbe Beach, Aksa Beach, Girgaum Chowpatty Beach, Juhu beach, Kalamb Beach, and Marve Beach. Some of the beaches of Gujarat are are Ahmedpur Mandvi Beach, Chorwad Beach, Somnath Beach, Gopnath Beach, Dwaraka Beach, Mandvi, Nagoa Beach, Ghoghla Beach and Gomtimata Beach. Gujarat is also a popular place for the beauty of Rann of Kutch. It is the grand place for heritage tourism, cultural tourism, nature tourism, leisure tourism and pilgrimage tourism.
